Staying Safe in 2020 at Gower Fresh Christmas Trees

Here on the Gower Fresh Christmas Tree Farm we have all been working very hard to ensure that all forthcoming events being held at the Farm are safe for both you, your family and our staff enabling us all to enjoy a spectacular Halloween and Christmas.

Our number one priority is the safety of our visitors and staff and therefore we have followed Government guidelines for Covid-19 and have put the following safety measures in place in order to ensure the safety of our visitors and colleagues. Before you visit our farm this year please read our guidelines below as you and your family will be asked to comply with our new measures.

  • If you’re unwell with COVID-19 symptoms or have a confirmed case please do not visit the farm, i.e high temperature, persistent new cough or loss of sense of smell or taste.
  • Track and Trace details will be taken from the lead contact as per Government Guidelines.
  • In accordance with Government Guidelines the maximum visitor group is six people including children. Please respect this ruling at all times.
  • Parents are asked to ensure that their children adhere to social distancing and guidelines as it is our responsibility to put reasonable measures in place but it is not our responsibility to enforce social distancing.
  • All visitors aged 12 and over MUST wear a face mask in indoor areas as per Government Ruling (unless and exempt applies).   Masks will be available for purchase for anyone that may have forgotten or lost theirs.

  • On arrival and throughout your visit you will see signs displaying social distancing and procedures. These will be in various forms i.e. arrows marking out a one-way system, floor queue markers, sanitising stations, pay points etc. Please adhere to these
  • Our teams will be continuously undertaking deep cleaning of all areas.
  • When interacting with our visitors our staff will maintain social distancing at all times for the protection of our staff, visitors and the wider community.
  • Staff will be wearing the appropriate PPE for the areas that they are working in.
  • We have done our utmost to ensure that every activity on offer is both safe for our staff and visitors and we ask you to follow any instructions given by members of our team at all times as well as ensuring that you wash your hands or use our sanitiser stations before and after participating in any activity i.e. wand making, feeding reindeer etc.
  • To avoid any disappointment please pre-book any activities through our website due to limited numbers and walk-ins not being permitted. Children aged 12 and over must wear masks in indoor areas .
  • We would prefer wherever possible that visitors pay by card when on site to limit the risk to our staff and themselves.
  • Refreshments are available to purchase on site but due to social distancing and the protection of visitors and staff queues may be longer than usual.   Please be patient during these times.
  • When visiting our toilets please be mindful of other users and use the hand sanitisers located outside the toilets before entering and wash your hands thoroughly with hot water and soap before you leave.
  • Please try not to touch fences, barriers, signs etc. where ever possible.
  • We ask you to follow our on-site instructions and maintain the 2m distance from other households at all times.  Our one-way systems are in place for your safety so please adhere to them.
