With our Easter eggtravaganza nearly upon us we are very busy getting the farm ready for the arrival of a few thousand people! We are opening on the 17th of April for an Easter trail where you will be able to wander the farm looking for marker posts and clues. You will have a game card, which you will get stamped at each point, on completion of the 40 minute trail you get an Easter egg.

Around the trail you will see the workings of the Christmas tree farm , all the stages of Christmas tree growing Fraser, Nordman and Noble Firs at all ages, also the pot grown trees and the pumpkin patch where soon we will be planting pumpkins for the pick-your-own-pumpkin and Halloween event in the autumn. I am already excited about that, after your support and success last year. This year we are having some exciting new varieties of pumpkins.

Back to the trail, we have a circus skills tent half way around it, where you can hone your circus skills in juggling and plate spinning, also keep our eyes out for the Easter bunny and get your picture with him/her !

The route takes about 40 mins and a lovely walk to get the children away from their I pads, LOL ! You will see some great views of Gower, there is a shortcut for shorter legs and tractor rides towards the end, wellies are a must. The ever present reindeer will be there waiting to be fed by you and will probably appreciate the food, as they are close to giving birth and will need the energy.

Also back at the farm where you arrive we have lots going on, food and drinks, Welsh cakes, burgers and hotdogs from the Grill House, coffees and hot chocolates from our new coffee machine we have installed, a sweet shop and large sitting area.

The barn is home to lots of craft stalls this year many interactive and entertainment will be the much loved Daley Bee every day.

Finally as if there isn’t enough it seems already we have the fair in town, dodgems, trampolines, mini plane rides for toddlers and hook a duck fun for all ages.
