Every spring, fields across the Netherlands burst into colour as millions of tulips bloom in sweeping stripes of red, yellow, pink, and purple. These world famous Dutch tulip fields have inspired travellers, photographers, and flower lovers for generations — and this year, we’re bringing a little of that magic right here to the farm.
After our winter break, Easter marks the moment we open our gates again. The farm comes back to life with families exploring, children running through the fresh spring air, and the excitement of a new season ahead. But once Easter weekend comes to a close, the colour doesn’t stop — because that’s when our tulip fields truly begin to shine.
This year, we’ve created one of the largest tulip displays in the UK, inspired by the iconic fields of Holland. Rows of vibrant blooms stretch across the landscape, creating a breathtaking backdrop for spring days out. Whether you’re wandering through the pathways, taking in the view from our raised platform, or capturing the perfect photo beside our traditional windmill, the tulip fields offer something special for everyone.
We’ve added plenty of places to stop, smile, and take photos — from colourful corners to wide open views — and, weather permitting, you’ll also be able to pick your own tulips to take home. It’s a chance to bring a little piece of spring indoors, straight from the field.
Tulips themselves are remarkable flowers. Originally from Central Asia, they became a symbol of beauty and celebration in the Netherlands, where growers perfected the incredible range of colours and shapes we know today. They’re hardy, elegant, and full of personality — each variety with its own story. Seeing them bloom together in such numbers is something that never loses its magic.
Our tulip fields continue after Easter, giving you plenty of time to visit, explore, and enjoy the colours of spring. Whether you’re here for a peaceful walk, a family day out, or simply to take in the view, the fields are a reminder of everything we love about this time of year — new beginnings, fresh air, and the simple joy of being outdoors.
