It’s exciting, Halloween is just few weeks away and we are all getting ready. We have a lot in store for our customers and friends that we will talk about it later on but right now we are open for Pick Your Own Gower Pumpkin. If you are wondering where to get your pmpkin from this year just turn up at Gower Fresh Christmas Trees to choose one of our pumpkins we have grown at the farm. It’s great to be offering Welsh pumpkins as it has been hard work growing them this year with the weather.

We opened last weekend for the publick for “pick your own pumpkins” and we were surprised by the response. Loads of happy families having a great day out choosing pumpkins. There are thousands of pumpkins to choose from all sizes, colours and varieties and costing from £1.50 -£7.00. There is so much fun to be had as we have lots of wheelbarrows available to fill up with pumpkins and to transport them back to the barn, which incidentally is also full of pumpkins, so you can pick your pumpkin up even if the rain is pouring.

We are open 7 days a week, 9am to 4pm. You don’t need tickets to come and pick your pumpkin. Just come and see how many wonderful pumpkins we have waiting for you.

In 2018 we had our first ever a Pick Your Own Pumpkin and Halloween event. We were amazed by the response of the visitors, who loved the chance to visit the farm and choose their pumpkins. It was hard to keep up with the demand of thousands of pumpkins but we just about managed. We scattered them among the Christmas trees at our PYO fields, where customers could choose their big pumpkin and carry it back to the farm in our wheelbarrows.

The success was phenomenal, so, this year we are going bigger. We planted thousands more pumpkins to meet the demand. Now you can buy a Gower grown pumpkin at the farm from the start of October. You can either take it home with you or use it in our Pumpkin Carving activity inside the spooky barn. It’s great fun for the children and the whole family, it’s pumpkin carnage, it’s creativity, it’s laughter, music, food and so much more.

So come along and Pick Your Own Gower Pumpkin at Gower Fresh Christmas Trees farm, we have thousands of pumpkins to choose from, and “pick your own” is great fun, there is no charge for entry just for the number of pumpkins you choose, but you will need tickets for the Halloween extravaganza!!!!!
